The Dreamer
Hero Trilogy Part 3 – Andreas Vedvik & Tyrone Douglas
The third and final installment of the Hero trilogy with Tyrone Douglas, exploring dreams, aspirations, and the human spirit. After examining working-class and middle-class identities, this piece dives into what it means to dream.
The performance explores the nature of dreams themselves - both the aspirational dreams we hold for our futures and the subconscious dreams that visit us at night. It asks what happens when dreams collide with reality, and whether the dreamer can survive the waking world.
Through physical theatre and intimate storytelling, Andreas and Tyrone conclude their exploration of class and identity with a meditation on hope, imagination, and the courage it takes to keep dreaming in a world that often demands we be practical.
