A Working Class Hero

Hero Trilogy Part 1 – Andreas Vedvik & Tyrone Douglas

A devised theatre performance exploring working-class identity and aspirations through physical theatre and storytelling. This is the first part of a trilogy created in collaboration with Tyrone Douglas.

The performance examines what it means to come from a working-class background in contemporary society. Through personal narratives and physical expression, it explores themes of labor, dignity, aspiration, and the complex relationship between class identity and self-worth.

Drawing on their own experiences and research, Andreas and Tyrone create a theatrical space where working-class stories are celebrated and examined. The piece challenges stereotypes while honoring the struggles and resilience of working-class communities.
